Why people call us back

Dumpster rental that fits the job, not the other way round

Most people call us in the middle of something stressful — a garage that finally has to be dealt with, a remodel that starts Monday, storm debris piling up after a tropical system rolls through, a parent's house that needs clearing. The last thing you need is a pricing puzzle or a container that turns up two days late.

So we keep it simple. You tell us roughly what you're getting rid of and where it needs to sit. We size it right, quote a flat rate that covers everything, and tell you exactly when our own truck will be there. Then we show up.

Our yard sits at 805 NE 8th St in Cape Coral — a city built around more than 400 miles of navigable canals, more than any other city on Earth, and one of the fastest-growing cities in Florida with new-home construction going up across town. From here we run across all of Lee County, from North Fort Myers and Fort Myers out to Lehigh Acres, Bonita Springs and the barrier islands of Fort Myers Beach and Sanibel. Our drivers know which narrow canal-front streets need a careful approach and a placement that keeps a seawall or dock clear, which HOA-governed canal communities have their own container rules worth checking first, and how to time a causeway crossing out to a barrier island so a delivery doesn't get stuck behind bridge traffic.

  • Right-sized advice. We'd rather put you in a 15 than have you pay for air in a 30.
  • Honest weight allowances. Stated in tons on the quote, not buried in terms.
  • Flexible rental periods. Standard is seven days; keep it longer if the job runs on.
  • Proper disposal. Sorted and diverted where possible, Florida DEP rules respected on every load.

The process

How it works

Four steps, one phone call, no online forms to fight with.

  1. 1

    Call and describe the job

Tell us what you're clearing and where it will sit. We ask a few questions about weight and access, then quote the right container and a flat rate on the spot at (239) 341-6424.

  2. 2

    We deliver fast

Call before noon and we can usually deliver the same day; otherwise it's on the ground the next morning. Our own driver lays boards under the rails and sets it exactly where you want it — you don't even need to be home, just keep the spot clear.

  3. 3

Fill it at your own pace

Standard rental is seven days, and it's easy to extend. Load heavy material flat on the floor, keep everything level with the top rail, and keep banned items out.

  4. 4

    One call and it's gone

Ring us when you're done and we'll send a driver out. We collect, weigh, sort what can be diverted and dispose of the rest properly ourselves. No chasing, no paperwork.

Reviews

What our neighbors say

A sample of the feedback we've had from customers around Cape Coral and the rest of Lee County.

  • Our lot backs onto one of the canals, and the street out front is narrower than a lot of contractors expect. Cape Coral Brothers figured out a placement that kept the container clear of the seawall and our dock access, and it never once got in the way of five weeks of work.

    Meredith T.Southwest Cape Coral — Canal-Front Remodel

  • I manage a few rental properties across the river in North Fort Myers, and turnover week is always chaos. Cape Coral Brothers had a 15 yard on the curb before my cleaning crew even arrived, and the driver knew the roads without me having to explain a thing.

Marcus D.North Fort Myers — Rental Property Turnover

  • Clearing out my father's house in Lehigh Acres after he passed was one of the harder weeks we've had. Cape Coral Brothers let us keep the container a couple of extra days without making it a thing, and the driver who came back for it helped us carry an old chest freezer down the front steps. Small kindness, but it mattered that week.

The difference

Why Cape Coral keeps calling Cape Coral Brothers

  • We answer the phone

You get one of our own people who actually knows the schedule, not a call center reading from a script. Most quotes take under four minutes.

  • One flat rate, all in

Delivery, pickup, a stated weight allowance, disposal and tax are quoted together up front. If the number changes, it's because you asked for something extra.

  • Same-day when you need it

Call before noon on a weekday and there's a good chance we can have a container on your driveway the same afternoon. Next morning at the latest.

  • Your driveway is protected

Boards go down under the rails on every residential drop, whether it's a narrow canal-front street in southwest Cape Coral or a brand-new driveway out in Lehigh Acres, at no charge.

  • Disposed of properly

We sort and divert what we can and follow Florida DEP waste rules to the letter, so nothing you hand over turns into someone else's problem.

  • We don't back down from hurricane season

Southwest Florida sits in an active Gulf Coast hurricane corridor, and our drivers plan around a tropical system instead of quietly disappearing when one is forecast.

Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

How quickly can you get a dumpster delivered in Cape Coral?

If you call before about noon on a weekday we can usually deliver the same afternoon, and next-morning is standard the rest of the time. Atlantic hurricane season, June through November, is our busiest and least predictable stretch in Lee County — Southwest Florida sits in an active Gulf Coast hurricane corridor, and both pre-storm yard clearing and post-storm cleanup calls can spike fast. Outside of storm season, roughly 355 days of sun a year means there's no real seasonal slowdown here the way colder markets have, and Cape Coral's ongoing new-construction boom keeps our schedule steady year-round. If your project has a fixed start date it's worth booking a few days ahead. Storm cleanup calls get moved to the front of the queue where we can.

What does your flat rate actually include?

Delivery, a standard seven-day rental, pickup, a stated weight allowance in tons, disposal at a permitted facility, and state and local taxes. There's nothing hidden underneath it. The only things that would change your number are keeping the container past the rental period, going over the weight allowance, needing it relocated on site, or putting banned material in it.

Do I need a permit for a dumpster in Cape Coral?

Not if it sits on your own driveway or private property, which covers the large majority of our residential drops — no permit is required anywhere in Lee County for a container on private land. If the container has to sit on a public street instead, City of Cape Coral, FL is the office to confirm a temporary placement permit with for an address inside Cape Coral. If your job is in one of the other communities we serve, check with that town's own office if it has one, or with Lee County, FL for the unincorporated parts of the county, before you book.

Will the truck damage my driveway?

We lay protective boards under the container rails on every residential delivery at no charge, and our drivers know how to spread the load rather than pivot-turn — that matters on the narrow streets common around some of Cape Coral's older canal-front blocks just as much as on a brand-new driveway still settling on a freshly built lot in Lehigh Acres. Tell us about the surface and we'll pick a placement that works.

Can you deliver to a canal-front or waterfront lot?

Regularly. Cape Coral has more than 400 miles of navigable canals — more than any other city on Earth — so a large share of what we deliver every week sits on a canal-front street. We work around narrow street width, seawall and dock access, and any container rules a canal-community HOA has, and we'll ask about all three before your delivery date so the driver isn't guessing when the truck arrives.

What happens to dumpster service during hurricane season?

We keep running it, as safely as the storm allows. Lee County sits in a real, active Gulf Coast hurricane corridor — Hurricane Ian made landfall nearby in 2022 with major regional impact, and it's a genuine, current risk here every June through November, not a once-in-a-generation worry. We watch the forecast and would rather reschedule a delivery a day early than have a driver on the road ahead of a storm. Pre-storm yard-clearing calls and post-storm debris cleanup both get moved toward the front of the queue where we can manage it.

What can't I put in the dumpster?

Florida restricts a number of materials from ordinary landfill disposal — paint, solvents and oils, tires, batteries, hazardous chemicals, propane tanks and gas cylinders, and medical waste among them. Call us and we'll tell you exactly where each of those should go instead, or point you to Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) or Lee County Solid Waste Division for the full rules.

How long do I get to keep it?

Seven days comes standard with every rental, which is comfortable for most home cleanouts and single-trade jobs. If you need longer, just say so when you book — extension is easy and we'd far rather extend you than have you rush. Contractors on longer builds usually run a standing swap-out schedule instead.

Do you serve towns outside Cape Coral?

Yes. We regularly deliver across North Fort Myers, Fort Myers, Matlacha, Pine Island, Lehigh Acres, San Carlos Park, Alva, Estero, Bonita Springs, Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel, plus the roads and communities in between — including Fort Myers Beach and Sanibel, both barrier islands we reach by causeway. If you're near the edge of that circle, ring us — we usually make it work.

Can I get a dumpster for concrete, brick or dirt?

Yes, but it needs to be a dedicated clean load in a smaller container — usually a 10 or 15 yard, since heavy material like concrete, brick and fill dirt hits the weight limit long before it fills the box. That comes up constantly here with Cape Coral's new-construction and infill boom — poured footings, block and stucco debris and excavated fill dirt are a routine part of the workload. Keeping it separate from mixed debris also means it can go to a recycler rather than the landfill. Never mix concrete with household junk or wood.
